Frequently Asked Questions

The Sins and Saints is one of the few Ace Combat wings that offer competitive ranking and promotions, and a realistic military structure. We are also one of the most proficient organizations devoted to Ace Combat, and will be more than capable when called upon.

Where do I enlist?

In order to join the Sins & Saints, you must first fill out a questionnaire/application form, which can be found here.
You must fill out this form, and send it to RegistrationSS13@gmail.com.

Your form will be submitted for review. Based on your behavior and activity at AceCombatSkies.com, and with other members of the wing, we will either accept or deny your registration request.

Once accepted into the wing, you will have permission to register at our Private Forums.

*If you would like more information, please Contact our Recruitment Officer

What are my duties after I am admitted?

You must remain active or you will be removed from the active roster, and suspended from wing activity pending review. Inactivity is very harmful to any squadron, and it is not recommended merely by ourselves, but the entire Ace Combat Squadron community that you do not become inactive without warning.

You must also be a curtious and respectful member of both the wing and Ace Combat Skies forums. Try your best to stay invloved with things, and make friends.

Above all, just have fun.

What is the Chain of Command?

The Chain of Command (Ranks) can be viewed here

How are ranks assigned?

Ranks are assigned to members by how they behave, how active they are, and how they have helped out the Wing. To avoid having too many high ranks, we make it so the higher your rank is, the harder it is to advance. As an Airman, the least that is needed is for you to be active and abide by our rules. As a Sergeant, you must be active and abide by our rules, along with a written test which will be given to you by Eagle 1. As an officer (2nd Lt and above), it then gets harder to advance. Keeping with activity, following our rules, and representing the Wing in a good light, it is often required as you get higher up that you do something to help the Wing, or its members to get promoted.

Many times we will give out medals, ribbons, citations, etc for things you may do, including good conduct, recruitment, and many others, which may go in place of promotions, or coupled with promotions. We do this not only to recognize our members for their achievements, but to also keep the Chain of Command spaced out, balanced, and to make sense - you ought to work to get promoted anywhere.

How can I be demoted?

Getting yourself demoted is a pretty damn hard thing to do here, since the members we accept are usually the best of the best, but things that can warrent a demotion in rank or suspension from the Wing can include harrassing other members, not following orders (over and over again without reason), found lacking in the Honor Treatise, leaving and then rejoining the Wing (if we allow you), and showing bad conduct on our forums, our site, other squads' sites, and AceCombatSkies.com.

Serious cases, which may involve harrassing of another member in which case the member may feel threatened or not willing to participate with the Wing anymore, or betraying the Sins & Saints by being a spy from another squadron, wing, etc, or leaking sensitive info about us in any way - intentionally - will result in you being Dishonorably Discharged. So far we've never had to do this to anyone.

Do we have a motto?
Yes we do. Our motto is:

"In caelo, unus cornus pugnatoris multis." - "In the sky, one wing of many fighters"

Do we have any Guard Dogs?
Yes, here is a picture of one of our dogs.
